The Total Protection Package by ImmunizeLABS Review

“I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company. ”

Before I was selected ImmunizeLABS had several questions for me about my health, what were my illnesses, what were my symptoms before I was selected to try the product.  I think that this in itself is a reason to trust in this company.  They didn’t want me trying a product that was not right for me.  ImmuizeLABS started out of trying to figure out what was wrong with Christine.  Like a lot of us, Christine had been diagnosed with  CFS/ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Myalgic Encephalomyelitis).  Her Husband Pascal set out to find a way to cure Christine and how their products were developed and you can read their story here: https://immunizelabs.com/pages/about-us

Once I was accepted, I was sent my sample package very quickly.  The bottles were packaged very well and all arrived safe and intact to me.  I received Kit 2 The Total Protection package, which included two bottles of Pain Relief, one bottle of Boost and Shield.  This is a 30-day supply.  The bottles did not need refrigeration.

    Total protection that includes:

    • pain and inflammation prevention
    • immune system boosting to fight infections and recover faster
    • cellular boosting for disease resistance and added energy
    • 1 Month supply of Pain and Inflammation protection (2 Bottles)
    • 1 Month supply of Shield immune boosting protection
    • 1 Month supply of Boost cellular health boosting protection
    • $30 discount
    • Free shipping
    • $250

I had been ill in that I was very nauseous as with most days of my illness so I waited to start taking the regimen.  The instructions were simple, take two tablespoons of Pain Relief and a tablespoon of Boost and Shield first thing in the morning with 4 ozs of water.  (Somehow I missed that I could take it with apple juice)  To start you only need to take a teaspoon and build up to the recommended dose over the first week.  The smell of Pain Relief turned my stomach more than it usually is in the morning.  I had to take just the Boost and Shield together.  None of the products I tried needed to be refrigerated and that is pretty awesome in a product that has no added sugar, no artificial ingredients, no GMO’s, no soy, no dairy, no nuts and the only added natural flavours are organic cocoa, stevia, cinnamon oil, and ginger oil.

Did it work?  I really can’t say.  I’ve been taking Boost and Shield and I haven’t gotten whatever the nasty bug is that my family has been plagued with.  I have lupus and I catch everything and anything I catch can cause complications.  Did I not catch it because I’ve been supplementing with Boost and Shield?  I hope so.  Two of the three people in my home other than me have had to go get antibiotics for whatever the bug is they have.

If ImmunizeLABS could come up with a caplet form of the formulas then I would be able to take all the formulas.  I think that once there are other flavours, as mine was chocolate, their products will appeal to wider range of people. As someone who has taken way too many prescription medications in my lifetime, a chance to try something that is natural and good for my body instead of synthetic and chemicals is an honor to try.

If you are interested in trying any of ImmunizeLABS products yourself, please check them out and KRISTIN10 will get you a 10% discount on any purchase until June 1st, 2017.  Also, shipping is free on orders over $200.

What’s A Flare Day Kit?  A Huge Contest Sponsored by Chronic Illness Bloggers

    CIB Holiday Giveaway

The giveaway runs November 23rd to December 3rd!  Please share with all your family and friends!  I hope you enjoy the blog and find some new blogs and products!

Flare Day Kit or ER and Hospital Must Haves

When I found myself going to the ER more frequently I threw a few things into a bag so that I’d have a more comfortable wait.  I can’t do anything about the horrible chairs that my ER’s have but I like being comfortable.

    • Baggu bag because it’s canvass and can be washed when I go home.  I always bring bottles of water and a bottle of ginger ale.  I have even had a juice box at times.  I know that if I have stomach problems that I can’t eat or drink but my caregiver can and the wait can be really long in my area.  I always have my S’well 25 oz bottle because it’s large and keeps my water cold.  Hydration is a problem for me because of constant nausea.
    • Colouring book and pencils in a pouch. I find it relaxing
    • Some hard candies because my mouth is dry and hospital air is brutal on dry mouth
    • A light blanket (sometimes two)
    • My Mophie Juice Pack – I keep it charged on my nightstand.  It powers my iPad, my iPhone and both of my hubby’s too.
    • A long cord for the iDevices and the wall plug for the iPad because the regular one only charges the phone and not the iPad.
    • Book because I like reading real books and I usually have a couple on the go
    • Earplugs – I get overwhelmed with sounds
    • Chapstick – back to the dry mouth and hospitals are dry
    • Moisturizer because you use so much hand sanitizer at the hospital
    • Sunglasses on migraine visits but now I’d bring my Axon glasses because well they’re amazing.

My contribution is part of Prize pack 8 and I’ve listed what I’m including below this photo.  Later on, there is two photos with all the prize packs listed.  There are Eight prize packs, a Fibro prize pack and two packs that are just for the US entrants.  We have over 50 bloggers and sponsors participating in this cross blog promotion for the Chronic Illness Bloggers.  No purchase necessary.  But check out the list of bloggers and sponsors as there is something for everyone.

    1. Sichuan Teasel Root (Dipsacus asperoides):    In China, Sichuan is named Xu Duan and translates to, restore what is broken. The sichuan teasel root has been used historically to tonify the liver and kidneys, promote blood circulation, and strengthen the bones and tendons.

    2. Dang Shen Root:    The dang shen root is a traditional Qi tonic and is notorious for offering the numerous therapeutic benefits ginseng offers. It is widely known for its energy, mood enhancing, and restorative support. When combined with astragalus, dang shen root is called The King of Combinations.

    3. Astragalus Root (Astragalus membranaceus):  In Chinese, Huangi Qi translates to Yellow Leader. This is due the yellow color of the root and it also being considered the leader of tonic herbs in traditional chinese medicine.
    4. White Peony / Bai Shao Yao root:    Bai Shao Yao root is widely cultivated throughout China for its numerous health benefits.

    5. Propolis:   In Greek, the name translates to Defense of the City, referencing its use in maintaining the integrity of the hive. Propolis is used by bees to repair and protect their hive. Typically, propolis is comprised of resin (50%), which is composed of flavonoids and related phenolic acids, generally called as the polyphenolic fraction, waxes (30%), essential oil (10%), pollen (5%), and other organic compounds (5%). However, this chemical composition may change according to the plant source and season; hence, quality sourcing of propolis is important

Honey Colony Superior CBD Oil review from mini2z for Chronic Illness Bloggers

Label of Superior CBD from Honey Colony

I received this a few weeks ago and I read it as to take the drops altogether so I decided bedtime was best for me.  I learned later that I could take it three times a day as four drops three times a day.  The first night, oh my, it is a weird taste.  You need to leave it under your tongue for the best effectiveness.  As the nights progressed, I was able to take the drops with no issue with the taste.  As I’m writing, I am realizing that my night time pain has decreased since I’ve been using the Honey Colony.  I’ve been getting a searing pain in my back and hips and I can honestly say that the CBD Oil has helped my pain.  It’s natural, made with Non-GMO, certified organic botanicals
Soil used to grow cannabis is free of pesticides, herbicides, or artificial fertilizers.  At this point in my illness and health, I’m trying to keep food as natural and healthy.

    CONS:

    • the label is so tiny writing that even with my glasses off I have a hard time reading it.
    • The taste but you can actually get used to it.  Although, my daughter has left the room twice when I took it because it was, “oh my god you’re going to oh my put that in your mouth?”  Yeah, teen girls are a wee bet dramatic.
    • It is only available in the US (all 50 states), Germany, Italy, Spain, Israel, Australia and the UK.  You need to check that you’re able to get it shipped to you!
    • Price:  It’s $92.55 for a single bottle and a 3-pack is $262.65 which is currently a sale price.
    • CBD and Drug Tests:  Unfortunately, it is possible for CBD to result in a positive for THC— much like eating a poppy seed bagel can cause a positive for opiates depending on the type of test. Our products contain .03% THC, well below the federal limit of .3%, but you should use discretion if planning to be tested.  Sourced from Honey Colony

    PROS:

    • It’s completely botanical
    • Cannabidiol (CBD) is extracted from the Cannabis plant and has no euphoric properties whatsoever.  It does NOT make you HIGH or funny feeling.  From Honey Colony:  Due to our CBD containing .03% THC, the legal amount of THC and only the potent health support without the psychoactive effects.
    • It has a shelf life of 2-3 years and no refrigeration needed!
    • It’s not an OIL but instead it’s the only water soluble CBD in the market currently.
    • The. Superior Six: Sichuan Teasel Root, Dang Shen Root, Astragalus Root, White Peony / Bai Shao Yao root, Propolis,
Bitter Orange Pee they all have SO many ingredients that are great for your health!

I actually find that for me the benefits outweigh the cons because ANYTHING that helps my searing pain due to my lupus SLE and fibromyalgia is just AMAZING in my book!
