Grateful to my family

Posted on

I’ve been having a bad couple weeks and hate to say but the lupus and fibromyalgia has been kicking my butt.  To sleep so much and still not feel rested is really just brutal. The only outward thing is a small rash on my face.  It’s been there for three months and just doesn’t want to go away.  I’ve had two medications changed in the past two weeks.  I’m hoping that I’ll have some relief and start to feel more HUMAN!

I’m so grateful to my mom who is with me every day, she makes me tea, brings it to me in my room, checks on me.  I love her and I don’t think I say thank you enough, so mom, THANK YOU!!

I’m grateful to my husband who has been to almost every doctor appointment that I’ve been to and that’s five doctors that I see very regularly another is only twice a year.  So Ger, thank you and I love you!

Kidlets, thank you for the extra things that you do.  I don’t know if either of you read my blog regularly but I love you two and I’m proud of the two young adults you’ve become.

My pupalups, Keely and Ranger I’m grateful for all the cuddles and kisses.

I’m also grateful to my pen-pal, thank you B for the cards and letters you brighten my days!

So what are you grateful for?

  • I am praying you get to feeling better.
It’s been a bit bumpy here as well. Not months of it like you have had this time….weeks of flu-like systems. ….I am having major trouble walking again. My whole right side is messed up. PAIN. Having to support myself with my left ankle and that is not always possible.
    Sending love and hugs.
