Off the Zero Day List is one food that I said I would try. I tried it, I survived and I would go again. I know I can get a little dish of teriyaki beef and however many sesame balls that I want and be content. In this photo I tried whatever it is in the bottom left. It wasn’t supposed to have fish in it but I picked out the crab and ate it. There were two other items I tried that came on another tray that were roll and one didn’t have fish and another had shrimp. We all finished off the all you can eat sushi with red bean or mango ice cream which was just a little scoop but oh so good. The only thing I didn’t like was there version of Chinese tea. It tasted like peanuts which was weird for a green tea. I prefer Oolong or Jasmine teas when we have Chinese food out. My anxiety was at a high level but I’m working on it. Every outing is a step in the right direction. My husband and I took his mom out for her first sushi dinner for her birthday. My husband was really adventurous and had eel. My mother in law and I just said, “no it’s all yours.”
- a Japanese dish consisting of small balls or rolls of vinegar-flavored cold cooked rice served with a garnish of raw fish, vegetables, or egg.
After we got home I was so in need of calamine lotion. Well some fell onto the floor and my crazy Ranger licked it up before we had a chance to clean it up. He’s a brindled Boxer mix with Wheaton Terrier. So he has a beard. In the picture he has a pink beard. Then the crazy pupalups did the role reversal at bedtime. Ranger is the back sleeper and Keely is the sulker. Keely was happy that she got the little bed and Ranger was sulking for the same reason. They will change beds several times throughout the night but the sulking starts when one gets the “little” bed first. Crazy pupalups.
Today or tomorrow I have a homework assignment that includes going a grocery store by myself. The anxiety is so real because I know I’m sick, I don’t look sick at first glance but if I have a tank and shorts on you will see my battered body. The only outward signs of the Lupus. I’ve found that even the rash may take up to six months to calm down. The blood and bruising looks like my family has been beating me. Nope just touch my skin and I bruise. I’m running out stain pretreater for getting the blood out of my clothing or bedding.
