Tyler Florence Fancy Box – April 2014

TF

I just want to say I love these mystery boxes! Even though I peaked at Jennifer’s review on Friday I still was so excited to open my first Tyler Florence . Who knew Kitchen gadgets could be so fun?

I love the small counter herb garden and my husband and daughter love the mortar and pestle. My daughter only for the Harry Potter aspect and mixing stuff.

There were six items in the box and a card from Fancy and Tyler explaining why he chose these items.

Product Card

Single Herb Pot $40.00

i Peeler $9.00

Mortar and Pestle $20.00

Vegetable Steamer $8.00

Wooden Citrus Reamer $7.00

Tater Mate $9.00

Tomato Huller $5.00

Total Fancy Price $99.00

Fancy Box $39.00 plus $7.95 shipping via FedEx (that’s another blog)

Considering how heavy it was compared to other Fancy boxes the shipping works out.

Overall satisfaction – over the moon happy with everything.  The only thing we are putting in the trade and gifting pile is the peeler. We have two in the house and one in the trailer. The spare I have in the house is going to the boyo’s camping box.  I still can’t believe the hubby wants to keep the mortar and pestle as I don’t think we will use it but he is the one who cooks!  I do but it’s not my favorite thing to do.

FoodiePages April Tasting Box

I ordered this box just last Thursday or Friday and it arrived this morning.

Dogs went crazy so I knew someone was here. We need to get our front screen door fixed and a doorbell.

I only paid $14.95 plus shipping and GST totaling $22.71 for four Canadian products.

Kimberly’s Own biscotti – three in the pack, no gluten and only 15 carbs. I have had them before and had them already with my tea.

Manning Canning Spicy Tomato Jam. I’m not a spicy fan but some of the family are so it will get used.

Louise Prete Fine Foods Sugo Pomodoro all’Amatriciana sauce. I think we will have pasta tonight! It looks and sounds yummy from the description.

Batch Sweet Kitchen Salted Caramel Popcorn. It’s a small enough package that it will be a nice treat for a diabetic like me!

The boxes are still available at FoodiePages there are monthly boxes and a chefs box. They were out of my price range but this was a fair amount to taste these wonderful Canadian products.
